RA is not new thing, now it has been taken more seriously in industry.
A Hazard is a potential source of harm or adverse health effect on a person or persons or something that is dangerous and likely to cause damage.

Few examples: falling from height, electrocutions, structing by vehicle or damage to property, severe health problems, cancer, asthma, damaging hearing
Risk assessment is about identifying sensible measures to control the risks in your workplace. And the most important implement them in workplace and successfully communicate them back to your workforce.
